Sorry I didn't see this sooner....yes they are open on Sundays....when we went in February we went on a Sunday night...hope you got to go and enjoyed your dinner.

Checked this place out too - EXCELLENT! Antonio the owner was sooo accommodating and everything was great (can't remember what we had now as it was 3 wks ago!). I know I had some sort of honking huge (the 'small' size) shrimp casserole. Sooo much shrimp I couldnt actually finish it. A good dish to share with someone else. Hubby had some sort of whole fish of the day. Signed the visitors book too. They didn't have bananas for banana daiquiries, so sent someone out to mega to get some - except they came back with plantains! Antonio persevered and sent someone else over to walmart for bananas!! Went to the top of our list for seafood - pushing El Oasis out sadly! You gotta try it. Easy parking across street in mega and ambiance under palapa is quite nice.

I love the food and lastnight I went by there and it was CLOSED....
Please tell me it was only for the night....

It was only that night - Tuesdays. Go tomorrow..or the next night...or the next! I ate there on Easter Sunday - food was very good! Antonio made me a margarita with freshly squeezed lime juice - yum!

I think La Pesca is closed on Tuesdays.

HHmmmm I do remember the first time I tried to go there, over NYE it was closed. But I don't remember what night of the week it was or even if it was night

Did make it there for peep fest and I think it was a Monday night. But, then again, I could be wrong. sorry

Do they have a web site for hours and days open? We are going back to Playa in September and would like to have a meal or two there.

My guess is no. There are very few restaurants here with websites. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to pass by when you arrive, to double check hours of operation. This place is very good, it's worth it!

Does anyone know if they are still open til 9pm? We'll be there in a couple of weeks, but I think it would be too hot in the day to walk up there.

I want to say they're winding down around 8pm.

Take a cab - it'll be the best coupla bucks spent.
