Great trip report! Thanks for sharing your wonderful time in Playa with us all.

And congratulations on the promotion! Hope that made it a bit easier to head back to work - 7 days do go by too fast.

Great trip report! One question-those pictures you just posted-all the boats are in front of the Gran and not the Royal aren't they? Just want to make sure!

Hello.....We did stay in Puerto Adventurous last year. We stayed at the Catalonia which is a resort that's a short walk from the marina. Really enjoyed the area. We walked around the shops and ate at a couple of places there. (no idea what the names were). Really good deals. Not as hectic as Playa while shopping. But we are such Playa fans that we found it to be to far away. They did have a shuttle that went in town at certain times. Decent resort. I didn't have any complaints.

Thanks for the report. Really in vacation mode. It's coming up.

Those were north of the resort, past the Shangri la.

Thanks for the info on hotel, I wondered if I'd like the distance from Playa too. The convenience of being that close would be hard to give up.

We started out in the front of the F1, but after a few hard hits, my back couldn't take anymore and so we moved to the back. Still a great time.
