Glad to hear that your lasering went great and improved your life...isn't it great what can be done nowadays??
On the topic above- people with really bad vision getting LASIK and the like- there are in fact limitations......if someones vision is really bad there are greater chances that lasering won't help or that the result won't be as promised. Good that the above mentioned patient found help- but also always keep in mind (like in Mofis dads case....) that if the dioptr. are too high there is a greater risk as well. Being very informed before having LASIK and the like done is always a must in any case......unfortunately we have many folks here in Germany f.e. who will travel to Turkey to have it done there as it is cheaper- and the docs there will just do it for the money sometimes regardless of the risks- and come back with vision worse than before.
