Hi All,

Well I have been lurking for the last couple of years, and posted occaisionally. I love this board, everyone is SOOO helpfull and full of great info!! We are coming down March 8- March 17 with our 3 boys. This is our 3rd time with the kids, and our 5th year coming. Can't wait to put my feet in the sand and have my margarita by the pool. This is our 4th house we have rented in Playacar and it looks Awesome! Can't wait to get there and enjoy the sunshine.

Have a BLAST! I have four kids and would really like to take them to Playa Del Carmen. 14, 12, 11 and a one year old (next Wed.) If you have any suggestions on a place that would fit all of us please let me know.

My wife and I we are going to arrive in Cancun on March 16 and one day we will go to Playa, any suggestions to were to stay for one day? I will definetly visit Shangri la in Playa

Hi Local KingsFan!
Yes, there are a ton of great villas to rent within walking distance to 5th ave. We have loved having a whole house to ourselves, and it is so much easier on the kids. I have found all of my rentals online. If you ever need any reccomendations or want to see pics of the places just let me know. My kids are so excited to go!!!

If the avatar is you, you have recovered nicely from about to explode. I hope we get to meet at a peep event in April. Mary and I are going to the Beer Bucket April 8 with some other peeps. KimmberA welcome to the site if you have been lurking you already know how fun and addicting it can be.

That picture was taken on our last trip two years ago (THANK YOU). I am working out (gym) really hard 5 days a week at 4:30 a.m. to get back into a swim suit. I too hope we are able to meet up while in Playa. We get in on the 10th. Fat Cat on 12th.

Here are some of the websites that I use to find villas to rent. We always rent in Playacar Phase I since it is a quick walk to 5th ave. We are renting Casa Marina this year through Playa Beach Properties, Kim has been very helpful there. Playa Beach rentals has the best website as far as pictures go, and most of the villas are rented by the same companies. We stayed at Casa Del Mar last year and it was beautiful!!! My twins are 5yrs and my youngest will be 4 in May. I am not sure about the flying thing....they tend to be "all talk, no action".

So are there any "must try" places for food and drinks?? We are bringing my MIL so that we can get out at least a few nights without the kids. I feel like we have been there so many times, but there is always more that we haven't seen. Can't wait to get there and explore!
