RIU Playacar Info

Leaving for playa on March 27, wondering if anyone can tell us if you have to wear dress pants to dinner? Sure would be nice to not have to pack them if not necessary. Would appreciate any other info you would like to pass on!!!!!!!! Thanks, Playa Rookies

We just returned from Riu Plyacar yesterday and, yes, men are required to wear long pants. My 18 year old son and his 17 year old friend were asked politely to get their food and leave since they were wearing shorts. I liked the fact that men were not allowed to wear their beach clothes at dinner.

RIU Playacar Info

I guess i never intended to wear beach clothes, but we stayed at RIU Tropical Bay in Jamaica and I wore dress shorts and nice shirts every night with no hassle what so ever. Seems to me it would be to hot for long pants. Also, is anyone out there altering travel plans because of the war?
