Do you like a long one ?

Do you think it is better to take one long vacation or two short vacations to Playa per year ?


I like a long one but then again you have to wait such a long time before you can have another one. So maybe two short ones are better !!! (This sounds like something Playabum would say)

I for one, usually prefer quality over length....

I like two weeks for now. It costs us quite a bit to get down there, so a week to 10 days seems pretty short.

Some people prefer a girthy one over a long one, I've heard, though I suppose the two dimensions could coexist

I agree, the cost of getting there is the major expense for us.Plus it's a full day of travel each way. Once there ten days go by so quick. We are shooting for 17-20 days next trip.

When I grow up I wanna be sorta like Bumper - at least a month each year on the coast. The difference is, I want the rest of the year to be spent somewhere else in Mexico

This will be our first long one and actually air and hotel were not that much more for the 3 extra days. A week is never enough for me but thinking 2 weeks may be to long. I would have loved a few more days in Akumal. I'll give you a more definitive answer after Peepstock.

Our air is very expensive so I really enjoyed the 2 week trip..makes more sense! We do alot of little trips through the year (other than Playa)

I was in Playa over 3 weeks last year & it still wasn't enough...
