Wow, that is great, we have a little dog kind of like yours whos name is....Paco!! we found her as a stray and have dubbed her our "Mexican road terrier", hope all stays well!!

OMIGOSH!!! I'm SO glad you gave that little guy his second chance! Only met you once, as you know, and though I liked you lots then, you just climbed way higher on the charts with that wheelchair and the willingness to love your doggy thru this. Peanut's got a face nobody could resist and it's so nice that he's still here to smile at us.

Very cool story. Very cool ending.

When I was a youngster, we had friends with a beautiful pure-bred dachshund called Stretch. She was a terrific pet, even-tempered, energetic, and friendly. She was a champion, so they bred her on a regular basis. Whenever she was pregnant, her belly used to drag on the ground. It was comical, but pitiful in a way to see her wagging her tail, glad to see you, running to you, then wimpering with the pain in her raw belly. Finally, her owner rigged up a padded roller skate type of arrangement to keep her belly off the floor. Stretch fgured that thing out in about a day. It was a riot to see her get up a head of steam, then lift all four legs and coast. I swore she smiled.

Glad things turned out so well for your fur person.
