Our plan is to visit Tikal this summer. Unfortunately we don't have time to visit the Mirador area. We have desided to only use 10 days on our roundtrip starting and stopping in Playa. And we want to spend some days in Playa too.

You are right, getting to Mirador would be a trip in itself.
