If you had an extra $50K what would you do with it?
Just curious, if you had that much extra money... what would you do with it? Invest it (if so where), apply to a bill, mortgage, etc?

Weird. We were watching a show last night about previous lottery winners and how some of them wish they never would have won as their lives now are much worse off. So, we got into a family discussion on what we would do if we came into a large sum of money. More money than what you are talking about. If we were to come into 50k we would put in an inground pool invest what is left. Now, if we came into millions we would put in a pool, buy property in Tiburon, concrete our driveway (which is long btw) add on to our house and invest some and travel, travel, travel.

My friend was on that show...

I would buy down my house with some of it, invest the rest.

I would like to say I would do that.....but I don't think I would!
I would pay off the credit cards, renovate my kitchen, build Nick a shop out back & take a trip to Playa.....
I am resigned to the fact that I will be paying off my house for the next 20 years or so....
