(Charter) Airline Passengers -- stay abreast ...
I knew the "breast" would get you!
Seriously, it was on the news that as more troops are deployed to the MidEast, airline schedules could be affected (government uses commerical airlines to fly troops). On another chatroom, some customers of APPLE VACATIONS and ATA have already been affected. Some have had their flights cancelled; others have had to accept rescheduled travel plans (with compensation). One would think that with all the flights no longer going to Europe, Asia and the MidEast, the airlines would have plenty of jets to use, without having to piss off willing -- and paying -- customers. But, as always, I give the airlines too much credit for their business sense. Anyway -- check with your airlines and travel agents, if you haven't heard from them already. This is probably a good year to read the fine print of your contracts ... and to buy travel insurance! :x |

travel insurance and flights
Got travel insurance--the first time I have bought that. We are flying commercial, which is also not risk free, but Continental still shows our flights as listed when I did a search this morning--the down to there flight is on May 3.
