A repository for Playa photos

Might be nice. A place where people could post their photos, with some editorial control over content and placement. I envision, for example, places for photos of individual hotels, beach clubs, places etc...

May not be something you want to do, but it would be nice

We've kinda been on vacation for a couple weeks since Anna's sister has been in town. It's been so nice, we plan to put up our own "trip reports."

The image gallery stuff is something that I installed to allow us to easily access folders of images. That existing folder contains some JimmyMN images.

I haven't customized it yet, but now that I'm officially off vacation, I should get that, and alot of other promised things, done. Oops. It's Friday, isn't it? Hmmm. Weekend!

I also thiink that would be a great idea. I think photos would really add to comments or suggestions.

A new image section is scheduled to be introduced once the server upgrade is complete. You can read the discussion about it here.

That's probably because this thread is almost a year old and there's been a server upgrade since then. James is in the process of adding an image gallery that's currently in a beta mode so to speak. If you want to take a peek at the current work in progress then click here.

I also posted info on how to upload photos to it on page 19 of the Christmas and New Years Holiday 2003/2004 thread --- which you will find here.

Please note that this feature is still in development stages. There are still bugs that need to be worked out and a possiblity that we may change to a different system altogether.

I've already purchased a very professional photo album script called Photopost. You can have a look at photopost.com

The new forum script is vBulletin v3 and we are also adding review post and open-realty.

Everything integrates very nicely.

In other words, hold on tightly. I won't have to modify much to get this stuff up, which is nice.
