the second house we were moved to was casa del nino. it was awsome. We go with a group of three other couples. The house has a huge outdoor area with a patio table that seats 8, a great pool with plenty of loungers, and an outdoor grill which came in handy once we discovered HC de monntereys. The inside is laid out in one big room with the kitchen dinning and living all there together. The kitchen was very well stocked with pans dishes and more, and the appliances were up to date and worked well. The bedrooms are of the main room all around it, but in a way that maximizes the space, and provides ample privacy. There is also a private bath attached to each room. From the pool you can see a good stretch of beach and blue water. Also there is a rooftop patio that we dragged chairs up to and enjoyed the sunset while drinking our sols and margaritas before dinner.

It does not have a phone, (which we secretly liked) but you are two houses from fishermans village where they will call you a cab to anywhere, or if you tip the consierge a bit he often will let you hitch a ride on one of hte village shuttles going in your direction(like the grocery store) and you just have to tip the driver a bit.

For the most part , however everything is within easy walking distance and we enjoyed the walk to town since we felt less guilty about the amount of food we pigged out on that way.

I hope others will post what houses they like to stay at and why, as often the pictures and explainations on the rental web sites do not really give you an accurate idea of what you are walking into.
