Hello from North Texas

Just back off a cruise, my hubby and I kept saying how much our 9yr old daughter would enjoy everything we did. So we decided to surprise her this summer with a trip. After talking it over we decided to visit Playa. We have never been there before, but have been to Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya several times. We want to visit somewhere new! I am hoping to get some good info here. We need family fun, there may be another couple with an 8 yr old also. But..... the grownups need to have fun to!!!!!

You and your family will love Playa. Lots to do and see. Plus the sand and water are perfect. We always see families with young children.

We took our kids and grandkids to Playa, actually Playa del Secreto, 3 years ago. we rented a villa and had an incredible time. We just returned from 11th trip to Playa.

Can anyone tell me how hot it is around that time of year? Still don't know where we are staying. I need more time to read all the good info on this site! Can you tell me how far out I need to make reservations

Probably a little hotter than North Texas, but you'll have white sand, turquoise water, a steady breeze, REAL Mexican beer and nothing better to do than enjoy all of it!

Yeah, it's hot and HUMID in Playa at that time of year but it hasn't stopped me yet..I love going in the summer.
