Thought I'd give brief update.

Am missing all Peepfesters/stockers very much. Job is tough, but with a small handful of other Peeps, together we are representing in Playa best we can since y'all left.

As mentioned, have decided to stay on for awhile longer.

If I can hold off returning home til the snow melts, I'd be a pretty happy gal.

Parents made a surprize visit to Playa on Thursday night/Friday.

(Mom, if you are reading this,

was a joke!)

Didn't see folks until Friday morning though, as was busy Thursday night dancing on bars at Luna Blue and doing bar hop with fellow Peeps. Can anyone imagine my surprize when I came strolling through the sunshine from La Santanerra at X:00 to see note from folks saying they will see me for breakfast ... 15 minutes earlier.

Am changing hotels today. Moving to Hotel Lunata at Lunch time.

Have the Jeep again for a few days. Will try to make sure I don't have to buy plates back from Policia again. Do not mind driving in Playa now that I have had some practice. Everyone is insane so I pretty much fit in anyway. This morning I was driving back to the hotel from Hugo's (Mom~ If you are reading this, I stayed at Basico last night and got up early to drive Hugo to work;). So I drive over to Juarez to stop at an Oxxo. Police were directing traffic. I was making a left turn and the cop signalled for me to do my left turn. Went from second gear to fifth instead of third by mistake. Tires squeal while I am turing as I hit the gas to avoid stalling. Cop just laughs as he pretends to jump out of the way and see everyone waiting at the bus stop start to laugh too. I love Mexico!

Have to drive to Cancun this afternoon. Possible trip report potential from drive alone! Am okay with driving Playa~ Haven't done drive to Cancun yet.

Jose at Kool says to say hello to everyone! He's still upholding deal that A'ndrea set up for us! Gotta love Jose!

That is about it~ Missing everyone very much. Loving Playa. Sun is shining again past two days (was hiding for a few days).

Thanks for the update, Taunya! But don't think you've gotten yourself out of doing a trip report upon your return to Canada!!

Be careful driving in Cancun....there are lots of drunk spring breakers wandering around!

Someone really should be supervising you while you're down there - you shouldn't be left alone to fend for yourself

Yes, will be careful in Cancun. Friends went up to Cancun to the City on Saturday night and said they have not seen so many

at once! *apparently they have not been on Fat Cat with Peeps though!*

Went to opening of new upstairs part at EC. Looks great! Very beautiful with gorgeous view.

got myself hooked up with journalist and camera crew that night so we may see Blondie on TV *thinking* she can salsa. Miss ya K!

You had to buy YOUR plates back from the Policia too? Hmmn. 10 years of driving and parking in Playa and I never heard of anyone getting a ticket and now you and me both in the same stretch of time...guess they're entering a new era of enforcement ?

Let me ask you what the local cop on the beat in the area I got my ticket asked me- did they see you with the car?
Hmmn.

Actually I was lucky I could find the car again...I parked it and then went out for one of those long nights where the morning greets you unexpectedly that you describe so well.

Thank god my parents didn't surprise me- I would have been like "Who are you again?"
Speaking of supervision, if Carole LB is coming to supervise you, then I think I should come back to supervise HER

I wasnt sure if it was open or not...good to know its got your stamp of approval. "Blondie" does manage to get herself into all kinds of fun doesn't she? Miss you back. How long are you staying?
