Hi from Fort worth, Texas

It’s been 3 years since my wife and I have visited Playa. My wife passed last year and I would like to visit Playa again and bring back some good memories plus have a good time. Here’s my problem the small hotels I emailed are telling me they want a 7 day commitment but I want to leave March 31 and return the 4th or 5th of April. Do ya'll have any suggestions on where to stay?

So sorry to hear about your wife!! We have stayed several times for 4-5 days and never had a problem in town! Most places only require a 3-4 day commitment. HTH!! Have a great time in Playa!

Thanks to everyone that replied. I changed my dates to 8April to 12 April and shpuld be able to stay at the Luna Blue.

Welcome Chuck! I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Your going to love Luna Blue. Playa's changed a little bit in the last 3 years but it's still the beautiful place we all love.

Keep checking the board for meets. We Texans like to get together...a lot...and the more the merrier!!

Hi Chuck, welcome to the forum. LB is a great little hotel and Tony and Cheri (owners) are awsome people. Like Kelly said keep your eyes open for peep meets. Enjoy your trip.

OK, Ok, I just realized I've been saying Beer Barrel!

I am mixing The Beer Bucket with the Tequila Barrel! I may also end up mixing beer and tequila! Maybe I just want to get to Playa and start drinking!

I am now going back and trying to edit my posts, but alas it may already be too late ! The Peep Meet on the 8th is at the BEER BUCKET !!!!!!

So sorry to hear about your wife.

Luna Blue is right across the street from where we're (mi familia) staying (Las Palmas), and you'll likely see me over there at least once a day to annoy the fantastic owners of this top notch establishment

so if ya have any questions, or need some peeps to hang on the beach with, just let us know!
