¡Viva la Playa!

Greetings and salutations!

I've been lurking long enough and it's time I stop in and say hi to you all.

I'm a professional geek (not the chickenhead-gnawing kind) in the DC area who found his way to PDC by accident last winter. My girlfriend and I were staying in Cancun and decided to rent a car to see the countryside and check out the ruins at Coba. We stopped in Playa on the way and loved the beach and town so much that we delayed our Coba trip and didn't get there until it was more-or-less closed! We decided to spend the entire next day in Playa as well.

Since then, it's been non-stop daydreaming about PDC, followed by reading this forum. We're hoping to get down there sometime in the next month or two, if but for a short while.

Can't wait to be back in the sun and the sand,
