Alaska Cruise Anyone?
Next year we will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary
and although one day hubby and I will stay in PLAYA with no children...... (another thread then..where to stay?) has anyone been on the Alaska Cruise???...we have been saying for 10 years that we would do this...however, we have never been on a cruise....any comments would be greatly appreciated!! 21 days..... yep! i have! it was about 7 years ago now.. it was amazing.. truly breathtaking. so cool to have bald eagles flying over your head.. or gaze out the ship window and spot a brown bear walking on the shore or an humpback whale breaching... or a seal on an icefloe in the middle of the glaciers..
plus it's an easy first cruise cuz you're not in the open ocean.. you're in the Inside Passage.. it's more like cruising a river than ocean. if you've got specific questions, i'll do my best to answer them, but my initial answer is "go for it!" ![]() |

I did a 2 week Alaskan cruise on Princess Cruises.
First week was a land tour, starting in Anchorage. Second week was the cruise. An amazing trip !!!! Would do it again, without hesitation. If you do a land and cruise vacation, do the cruise last, not first. It's more relaxing and you'll appreciate that after the land part of the trip. |
