I don't know which is more horrible... slaughtering them for meat, or the mistreatment that ensues when the slaughtering doesn't happen. I can't say I agree with eating horse meat, but it may be better than the alternative, in the long run.

That is sad....guess they are better off going to slaughter than starving
....why would anyone in the US be against slaughtering them for meat to be shipped overseas, and how did they get enough power to actually stop it from happening? We eat cattle, some people eat horsemeat, so what? |
