Barcelo Maya vs Gala Resort

I'm going to PDC in mid june for our honeymoon and so far 2 resorts that were recommended to me were Barcelo Maya and Gala Resort.

Which one would you recommend? Is Barcelo Maya too far from the city?

Hi! My husband and I were at the Barcelo last April and had the time of our life! Seven days and nights of heaven! Playa is about a half hour taxi ride from the resort, which is just right if you ask me. You will not find a more beautiful, private large beach. Pure sand, and wondeful snorkeling with a private pier and little island. Also, we thought the food was great, and the staff very eager to please. Enjoy!
