We stayed in Shangri la Caribe in August and didn't see any of that. May be we saw a couple of ants. Anyway: We had an excellent stay. One of our best ever. See the last part of our trip report. Link under.

Thank you so much for this great report of Shangri-La Caribe. I'll be calling today for more info on the rooms. Now, we're between Natz Ti Ha and Shangri-La, difficult decision. Is that penthouse big enough for two adults and two small kids??? Do you have pictures for the inside of the room besides the shower??

We are staying this year at Natz Ti Ha, becuse we heard that Shangri La had been sold. The penthouse we were in was roomy, but is on the third floor of the building it's in. I may have more pictures of the interior, I'll have to look.
