So anyway like I said, the flight leaves on time. We had a stopover in Dallas, about an hour, no problem. Just before we arrive, the announcenment is heard, we have to de-board the plane and take all of our carryon items with us. Oh great! I gotta be responsibile for the laptop again.
We land, get off the plane with the laptop over my shoulder. Then suddenly, magically it happened. The laptop and I bonded. We became one with each other. Where I went laptop went. Laptop at my side, I at laptop's side. One. Whole. Complete. Well at least until we got back on the plane, when I shoved it under the seat. Shallow aren't I? We landed in Cancun on time, but Pat had to use the bathroom again. I watched carefully as she walked towards el bano. Without speaking I helped guide her, a little left, easy....now straight....look for the little woman figure thingy...a few steps more....YES she's in the correct one! We then breezed though immigration, customs and another green light. We booked our tranfer through PLaya.Info, and there was our driver with our name on a sign, cool! It was straight to Luna Blue where we met PapaT. ![]() All the good things ever said about Tony and Cheri are true, they are great people. Lunch was at La Quinta Pasion, shrimp tacos per Tony's reccomendation. Excellent!!! After check-in it was just hanging out at LB with a glass or two of vino, ![]() then early to bed. Day two started with breakfast at La Cueva del Chango, aka The monkey Place, very good and inexpensive breakfast. ![]() After the monkey place it was off to Mamitas, for sun and relaxation: ![]() ![]() Playing together not too far from us was a father and his son: ![]() it was great to see them having fun and interacting together. Lunch was cocunt shrimp at Playa Maya, awesome: ![]() and we got to meet Steve Ryberg, very nice guy! Dinner that night was at Il Pescatore', phenomenal Italian. Cuff, you're right the bruschetta was fantastic! That's all for now, it's happy hour at Shangri La! ![]()

Day three we moved to Shangri La Caribe, which has turned out to be all we anticipated. The first five days we've been in a palapa on the beach:
![]() (Tommorrow we go to a penthouse suite for the remainder of our stay, seven more days.) After check-in we walked down fifth, to Geofish Dive, where we met up with DaddyB. Later on lunch at Babe's Noodles, then back to Shangri La for beach time. Night #3 was both of us over indulging as it were with adult beverages therefore Day four was what we like to call "a quiet day." Day five to follow, but alas it's happy hour again, more later.
