Long term rentals?

I am planning to move over to Playa soon. I'm studying a hospitality course at Canada right now and once I finish I would like to move and start sending resumes and looking for a job.
Meanwhile I would need a place to stay. Can't rent an apartment because I don't want to be tied to a specific time frame, and can't stay at a hotel because it would just be terribly expensive.

Are there any long term furnished rooms for rent where I could just decide to move out whenever I want to? Something in the downtown area would be the best, I guess

Try Mom's hotel or the Colonial. I belive they both do monthly room rentals.

I'd rather be rich than stupid.
Wow, with the reply you gave I'd have to say I'm sorry, but you are just stupid.

Thanks ONTHEBUS, that's more or less what I am looking for, a hotel that can manage long term rentals

the owner of Pizza Renzo rents inexpensive, furnished rooms with a small kitchenette above and behind Pizza Renzo, located on 5th Ave between 26th and 24th.
