That's somewhat hard to answer, as the Mayan Palace has been "lowballing" their rates to get people into their rooms while the construction continues. A better question might be what will they be charging once they are fully operational -- with usable beach, 18-hole golf course, waterpark, full landscaping, etc.
If it's a place you enjoyed going to, that's what you're investing in. If you were sold on its attractiveness on the timeshare exchange market, I think that's a good bet. We bought a timeshare elsewhere, and felt like real saps afterward -- but it's the only way we take a decent vacation once a year, as we have a hard time swallowing what hotels typically charge. :o Enjoy yourselves! (You don't have much of a choice, anyway, ha!ha!) |
