Metal Detectors
I think it would be so much fun to have one of these things down here. (Does this mean I'm getting old? )

Does anyone know enough about them to offer advice before I happen upon one that looks good on E-bay?

My Dad has 4 of them. It is his hobby. He has found some pretty good $$$$ stuff (old coins/jewelry).

I was thinking of the stand up, walk through ones at the airport...and I thought, why on earth would Susie think it would 'fun' to have one in Paamul...would she put it on her patio and make visitors walk through it.
Now I gotcha.
Heck, yes, if I lived there, I would want one-you could make some good money combing the beaches with one of those!
