Remy likes to roll in poo!!!

So here's the story. It's a nice winter/spring day here in MN......50's and sunny and the snow has pretty much melted to I figured it was a good time take our mutt Remy out with me to burn some boxes and paper. So we walked up to the old corral and I proceded to do my pyro thing and once the the paper started up I looked up to see that Remy rolling like a madman on the ground....I told him 'NO!" but that worked as good as usual.....not at all! So I ran over and grabbed him by the collar and pulled him off whatever he was rolling on.....damn what stinks?!?!? My hand stinks!!!! Damn if I've got coyote poo all over my hand!!!! Damn that's some really rank poo!!!!!! He got it all over his neck and collor and now I've got it all over my hand! Oh well....down to the basement for a quick bath and collar soak. Life in the country is always interesting and sometimes pretty stinky!

Coyote poo is nasty....black and full of hair. And shooting them isn't much of an option....they're nocturnal and we live next to a state park. At least they keep the rodent population down!

I only have pictures of Remy working, not eating poo. Erik will have to take all the pics of Remy in poo, new rules! Remy's job is to sleep.

3 months

ALL dogs will eat cat poo if they have access to it - to my knowledge. You would think the gritty litter would make it unappealing, I guess not. If your dog does eat cat poo, make sure to deworm him/her every so often - dogs can get sick from cat poop. I had to put my cat litter box in a closet with a cat door in it to keep my poop-hound from chowing down!

I almost got sick the first time I saw him eat his own.....The cat poo I can handle a bit more. Guess it's just a different tasting cat food . YUCK! He's young, I do hope he'll grow out of it! Then again, it's a losing battle to get him to NOT drink out of the toliet. Darn males

He gets his heartguard every month so not really worried about that, but thank you very much for the advise!
