Here's a few pictures from tonight's get-together. Other than Jason blowing through and Claudia accidently finding us, I think we were the only actual locals to hang out. Nice group of folks and fun too.

Achhhh! Oh no! I just went back through the few that I didn't post to see if there was a glimpse of Eddie anywhere and there wasn't!!! But he and Angie were there, even though they showed up a little late, having busted butt to get there at all, it seemed. We were all worried but were able to breathe a sigh of relief when he appeared. Last I saw them, they were off to Tango Taco for a bite to eat as they hadn't eaten since before they boarded their plane.

I'm sure someone snagged a shot of him!

I'm home from PDC! I can't believe that was last night! And YES, Eddie was there - a really nice guy, too. He described himself as "the fat ugly guy with the cute wife". This is only partly true, as he is neither fat nor ugly!

I also didn't feel that this description would adequately distinguish him from many of the rest of us!

And yes, somebody took a picture including him, Angie, "RMT1" (Rich from Reno and his lovely wife Jackie) with Susan and I in it, as well. But there was some drinking involved, so I am uncertain who may have the pics...we'll see. Also, toesinthesand (?) from Appleton, Wisconsin was there, Chuck from Dallas, posting as Chuck9879, jojo 547, Greek96 and a few others....I must apologize to any I forgot or didn't get to talk to. No Sarah B (maybe still recovering from her trip with Susie and Rick). No Deb or Tyra, no Synestre, although I saw all 3 of them on Thursday at "The Bucket". Also met Tony and Cheri at The Tequila Barrel on Saturday night, and they are every bit as nice as advertised!

So it's 38 degrees in Wisconsin and I just wanna be back in PLAYA dammit!

I had planned on attending and am now sorry I didn't, judging by the turnout and the report yesterday morning from our friends who were with parrothead. A simple walk on the beach, a quiet dinner on the beach with Mrs. IRLFAN turned into something else entirely.

It was just sooooo nice on the beach that evening. And we actually felt good on the flight home too.

I see someone even wore a ChampCar shirt. Damn. Would have loved to benchrace over a cold one!
