I dont know about the US,although there is a scene there.
General rule is to avoid imports from Vietnam,India etc as they usually look nice but the parts, workmanship are very poor.

Couple of links i found
Vintage Vespa @ Scooterworks

Restored vintage Vespas lambretta Scooters from ClassicalWheels.
also ebay

I saw that crane the other day, nice to know what it was doing there. You have an amazingly beautiful city, got lots of pics, hope to get to a trip report in the next few days.

Thanks jmac. We like it here. Do write a trip report, I think that would be interesting to read.

Yes, and I would love to see more pics of my city. Less then a year to go before I can move back.

This weekend we have the 'Cologne Pride' here on Cologne known as well as Christopher Street Day. There will be a parade tomorrow but for three days there is a big party on the streets that started yesterday. I have a stage in front of my house which is not as bad as it was last year when I was close to a nervous breakdown.

What I love in the program though is when the 'Pink pom's come to dance... They have already won prizes for their dances and I just love them. Three years ago they were scheduled for sunday evening and my mom and I went to my sister's appartment to watch them from there since the view from her appartment is better...

Here are two pics of them dancing today:

Link to a picture of a double rainbow yesterday here which was taken by my co-worker. Purty.

If you go back to his public gallery he also has some cool pictures taken with his telescope, etc.

Here are a few more pics from Zurich last week...

Hope to have more nice pics tomorrow since tonight we have big fireworks along the river and I'll be on a boat with friends. Hope to get a few nice shots.

[quote=jflattracker;1146245]Here's what we woke up to this morning! Elk in my garden! They ate some of my roses then moved on to the neighbors garden to eat her lettuce!

Love these pics. Reminded me of my friend's place in Estes Park. After college, a few of us moved out to Colorado. I lived in Louisville for a year and my buddy and his gf lived in Estes for a year or two longer. Loved to go to their place for the weekend.

Just got back into town after a weekend in Winchester, Va with our car club. What a great town!
Drove to Randolph Macon Academy

Stopped at a vineyard

Our Host's place

Note the place on the hill in the background...that is someone's house not legislative hall!

Had a great day yesterday out on the Hood canal, perfect weather, 85 degrees, just a slight breeze. Dropped the crab pot, two pulls and we had eight large Dungeness to take home.
