Needed some time off my brain and the thoughts that have been in there for over a week now. So I took my cam and went upstairs. My yellow straw-flowers are always full of little bees and since it was not as windy as in the past days and one of the little bees kept still most of the time I was able to take some sharp shots (I cropped them).

SKM, can she participate in the potty-training?

EDIT: got one more where she was wipping her 'hands'. Totally fascinating observing her via my camera and see the details later on on the screen much bigger.

Isn't the 40D one of Canon's best kept secrets?
It frustrates me that my vision isn't sharp enough to utilize the manual focus feature on mine.

I just LOVE my 40D. Although my bank account has been crying ever since I bought it, I wouldn't give it back for anything in the world...

and with my new glasses I can use the manual focus now.

Took Hannah and a buddy to Coors Field last night for a Rockies game (one of her requests before she heads off to college). Had a great time even during the hail/big ass rain drop storm that came through.

Old friends getting together before starting a new chapter...

This woman is a great announcer for Fox Sports/Rocky Mountain...

Clint Hurdle, Manager for the Rockies, was great with the fans; signing autographs and chatting with them...

Good crowd and great night...

Played around with a ferris wheel. Unfortunately I didn't have a tripod with me.

And two days later after work... it was a very dramatic light. I absolutely loved it...

Andiline... love that dark menacing sky with the sunlit foreground. Be nice if we could get those light conditions at will.
