Pueblo Sacbe tour
I know there is a whole board for Pueblo Sacbe, but it does not see much action, so I am starting this topic here. We are going to tour the project on May 6.
Have any of you toured it before? Has anyone here purchased a lot there or in other ways been more involved with the project? Feel free to send a private message if you do not want to discuss it on the board. thanks Ron |

Roni,
A friend of mine and I toured the future village last summer. We loved the place and bought a lot in the fall. Loved the natural feel, the sense of community, the eco-sensitive philosophy, the parkland, the cenotes, the opportunity to plant our own mango tree, and the proximity to Playa del Carmen's great food and activities....and Cozumel's diving. It's very much still mostly jungle...tres tranquila. Roads were being cut last time we visited in March. Some dwellings under construction. They have lots of wonderful plans and projects. Lots of opportunity for people like us to be involved in the future. It's an inspiring project! Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions. Dave |

I was looking at the lot layout this afternoon with Ted.
It's very much alive, just taking it's time a bit. I'm looking forward to building my house.

Jame,
As a keen reader (not always a poster) of this site, I was hoping to meet you when I was down in PDC in March, before I discovered you were involved with the village. It's great to know you're always posting here...that way maybe I can get an update from time to time. Must admit I'm constantly curious about the pueblo's goings on (never ending work-time day dreams). Hoping more villagers and future villages get a flow of info going here...share ideas, news, etc. Curious, which lot are you building on? My friend Lisa and I bought a small lot in Phase 1...think it's 49...far eastern edge beside the park...anyway we're on the last site plan I saw. Asked Hari to clear (or maybe thin is a better word) the lot, so I'm excited to see it...it was pretty thick jungle on the last visit. I'm planning another trip down perhaps in November...if not certainly next winter. Hope to meet you then. P.S. Been following some of your restaurant advice...checked out the shrimp taco joints mentioned. Loved 'em. Of course, have been a big fan of babes...where I met Geoff one night when we were having dinner with Tom and Joanne. Later, Dave |
