I have a round ponytail type one, it is really easy to use and looks great!!
It isn't heavy and it looks like you made a fancy hairdo...
I'll look for a pic...

Kinda like this one...mine is human hair...
It is so easy, make a messy bun, then wrap this around it...

Between my pigtails & braid pigtails with hats and my ponytail wraps I have almost all *good* hair days in Playa...

After two trips to Playa, and hair on the shorter side, I did not succeed in having a "good hair day". Thick curly hair is not conducive to humidity. I just decided that I had to grow it long ~ and then I can use the cute suggestions you all have posted.

We have (really) super humid days in Louisiana, so I am used to bad hair days.

The "thing" that works best for me is to spray (lightly) some of that anti frizz type hair spray/ or mousse on dry hair and then to take one of those blow dryers/with the round brush attached and brush/blow it out. I have thin hair but lots of it, and it gets wavy/frizzy when it is humid - this keeps it nice and smooth.

Great advice. Pittsburgh gets humid too...we seem to go from Winter to Humid (which has replaced summer) & could never get a system that worked. This will help my daughter too ~ she has it worse than me. Thanks!

I've got this one too (Revlon again)! These things are so fun and come in every look you could want, plus if you remove the clip it can be used as a drawstring (easier positioning depending on the look. A high on the head pony for instance.)

Sunbody Hats Travel Well.....

...you can scrunch them all you want, just soak them in water for a few minutes, reshape, and let dry:

Just got back and I have to say the John Frieda Frizzease stuff was fabulous. I have medium length hair with some natural wave....not nice wave...wave that goes in all different directions! Anyway I always blow dry straight but it ends up wild in Playa....used the gel in a pump before drying and then the Secret Weapon finishing cream after....my hair stayed perfect!!! Loved it!!!!

yeah same here execpt my 3 yo takes that honor! I'm glad I'm no t the only one with the hair problem. My hair got bigger everyday we were there last time. This time I'm taking frizz-ease straightening products. I doubt i'll have straight hair just hoping that it'll keep it slightly under control. And I have hats if it doesn't.

I used to go to a cowboy bar does that count?

Not a country bar a cowboy bar. They had hitching post for horses and a tv that was connected to a video feed of the horses so you could keep an eye on your horse.
