A slight set-back today, it turns out the lady who was having little Tommy has changed her mind so we still need to find a home for one more puppy.

They are all doing great and now all have thier (needle sharp) baby teeth so are happily chewing soft puppy food (and my toes ...ouch ) .

Great idea!!!

We would need hoses and a water source and a secure area to do it in. As most dog owners know, the dogs aren't always a big fan of the bath. Bathtubs would be a bonus too, if anyone knows where we could find something

Can anyone think of a good place to do it?

I used to work at a grooming salon, so I could definitely give a little training to all of the volunteers. It's not brain surgery, but there are a few little techniques that make it easier on everyone.

Any locals able to help put up "puppies to a good home' posters?

I could really use some help putting up posters to find homes for Tommy, the new batch of 5 pound puppies and the 11 more that I'm helping out on a construction site...yes, that's 17 puppies that we want to get into good homes!!!

I've got a poster, but there is only so much 1 person can do.

Can anyone give me a hand?

Thanks
Tammy
ps. the pound puppies only have 5 days left

If anyone thinks they may like to take little 'Tommy' we are gonna take him out with us on saturday night to Mojo Zone and La Ranita (but if you dont want a pup just say hi anyway
The first of the puppies will be going to thier new homes this weekend, Rory the biggest and most independant will be leaving the fold (after his 1st shots).

Hi Tammy,
just bring us the poster of the puppies and I will hang it out in our restaurant. Our friends and customers love pets and with a little luck we will find some good homes for them...
good luck

Well our first little puppy has left the fold, Rory moved in with Jose and his lovely family and took to them straight away, especially thier big labrador 'Doggy' who began introductions by licking him all over, it was heardtwarming to see Rory playing with his new big brother and the happy smiles on thier faces

The next two puppies to leave will be Holly & Coco who will be going to their new homes Tomorrow, we may also have found a home for Tommy but will have to wait a couple of weeks to see.

We have been trying to help a young dog that appears to live in the car park of the Coca Cola depot just up the road from us, she looks a real state but even as starving and unwell as she appears is still a lovely dog, i have tried to catch her a couple of time but she is so nervous i cannot even tho she lets me stroke her nose if i get too close to her collar (its the orange rabies shot collar) she pulls away, we have been feeding her and leaving water so hopefully she will start to get a little better and maybe start to trust us more. i wont post any pics cos it may upset
Thank you all again for your continuing help and support, it is needed and very appreciated.
PS more pet pics please .

Just seeing their little tails wagging and playing happily is enough thanks for us, give your 'kids' a hug from me .

I managed to get hold of the poor starving dog at the Coca Cola plant this evening, it amazes me that despite being so thin you can see every bone in her body and being obviously mis-treated she still has that loving look in her eyes when she looks at you while wagging her tail.
So off to the vets in the morning, Spud to get his rabies shot, the puppies to get thier first innoculations and our latest guest for a full check up... so busy day manana .
