Tin/Aluminum: Traditional 10th Anniversary gift. Help.
We'll be at the Barcelo from May 16 thru the 23rd. Our anniversary is on the 18th. I had thought about buying my husband something from here and taking it, but then I thought.. "aluminum/tin" is the gift. I bet I could find some cool art piece or other gift of that nature possibly in Playa.
What do y'all think? I've never been, so I'm not sure what to look for. Any ideas?

When we were in Zihua in February we were with three other couples and one of them were celebrating their 10th anniversary that week. They went out for supper and he surprised her with a gorgeous band with ten diamonds. She thought the same thing, that the trip was their gift- she was blown away. It was funny because she does all the household finances and her first question after she calmed down was 'Is this paid for?" But he had been saving his expense account reimbursements for two years. Then she was even happier.

Aww, that's sweet.
That would have been the first thing I thought of, too. "How did you pay for this?"Isn't that awful? My husband actually likes art, which is why I was thinking of purchasing something there. I keep picturing a repousse panel like this one, but Mexican not Thai.
