Secrets Capri or Excellence?
My husband and I are thinking of taking a quick trip (4 days,) with two other couples. I like the idea that the Capri has the shuttle into Playa, since it sounds like things shut down at the resort pretty early, and I know the guys would enjoy the free greens fees. We actually got to stay at The Excellence on our way home last year when our flight got cancelled. Unfortunately it was so late and we were so exhausted we really couldn't enjoy it. We thought the resort was lovely though.I see they both get very good reviews. Does the Excellence offer a shuttle into Playa? How much is it by taxi if they don't? Do they both do reservations for dinner? How dressed up do we have to get? How early do the bars shut down at the resorts? Besides eating and drinking, what else is there to do at the resorts> Do they have anything like pool tables? Thanks!

My husband and I have been to both and liked both of them. We prefer Capri because it's a little smaller and more intimate. There are no reservations for the restaurants and the food and service were very good. Both are low key. We meet great couples at both resorts. I do not know if Excellence has a shuttle to Playa, but the Capri did. I think the cab was about $30 from Excellence.
They both have a pool and ping pong table and board games. Entertainment is low key and a good place to chill. You can make your own party. We had at great time at both. Enjoy!

capri shuttle
The Secrets capri shuttle has limited hours(1 drop-off,1 pickup-unless it has changed) and a limited capacity. Sign up must be done in advance. We will be relying on taxi & hopefully sharing it with others we meet @ the resort.
