Private Message Mystery

Okay. This is probably the lamest thread started to date but my question has been bugging me for the past month.

Previously, whenever I received a Private Message, I would get a pop up window alerting me. Now, I get a cow mooing at me without the pop up window. Mooing sound was not there before. I asked my husband if he changed the browser selection. His reply was "No".

Are my kids messing with me?

What do you guys get when you receive a PM?

I get a pop-up within Playa.Info, but my e-mail (Outlook) also sends me a pop-up for 5 seconds with a little beep sound.

I think your kids must've changed the alert signal from your e-mail. That's what the "Moo" is probably from, not from the Playa.Info site.

Okay. Just asked Corey. He didn't do it. 1 down 3 to go. I don't get a pop up though on the Playa. info. site. Plus, I don't have any email/playa.info connection. Can you tell I'm computer stoopid?

You might want to review your user options.

Click User CP
Click Edit Options on the left hand side panel.

Place a check in the options you want, includung at the bottom of the page to have a pop up notification.

I did that and the box is checked for a pop up notification. Spoke with James quite awhile ago and he mentioned the browser thing. I am still confused. Thanks, Cuff.
