Playacar beach update 04/18/07
Just got off of the phone with my brother who is currently staying at the RIU Playacar as of 04/18/2007. Here is a playacar beach report from north to south. The Reef Playacar, Riu Palace Riveria Maya ( the new hotel), Wyndam Azteca, Allegro Playacar, Royal Hideaway, all their beaches not in good shape at all; in fact he used the word horrible. Riu Playacar, Wyndham Viva Maya, Riu Palace, he said were usuable but not great by any means. Riu Yucatan-Pretty good Iberostar Quetzal and Tucan-excellent Sandos Gala-excellent He also went on to say the beaches north of the fairy dock were in awesome shape. That was as far north as he had made it this morning. He did also mention that the beer was really cold!!! Hope this helps... |

Actually, I agree. We are seeing the sun today in New England for the first time in it seems like forever. We've had so much rain this past week, I felt I was in Seattle. (beautiful city, I've been there twice).
