Hey Commando - I love almost all food, including Mexican.
I also love the Patriots! Keep me posted if you do another meet. Nashua is right up the road.

Thanks for all the welcomes!
Tried Royals online check in a little after 1am this morning - didn't work. Tried again b4 i left for work - didn't work. Tried again now that I'm at work - still no go. Hope it works soon!
Dartmouth is near New Bedford. If you take 24 south and then 140 to the end you will land in New Bedford. Hope you can make it. If you are interested, I'll be happy to get you specific directions!
Keep trying the Royal online check in. It's great! You have to be sure you register the names as they are on your documents. You can even click on the room you like and see the view from the balcony!
Have a wonderful time. Tell Alexis........the beach manager that Kim and Kenny say Hola!!

Thanks Silvergirl - I finally got in - it was totally my fault Hopefully picked us a good room! I picked a room over in Uxmal to be away from the noise & activities from the pool - just in case we want to nap at any time. I am even more excited now!

we stayed in Uxmal last year........i liked it. We had a ground floor beachfront.......walk out. That was before they were so expensive. We were upgraded for free!! We liked it because it was so private. This year we were 2nd floor right above pool and it was noisy. Especially during Bingo........right when we wanted to nap. It was great for people watching though! Woke up one morning to find a guy had taken his bed comfortor over to the pool bed to sleep. Wife must have kicked him out!
I hope you have a great time. You can tell me all about it at the peep meet in May ........you'll still be tanned!

Very glad I stayed away from the pool then - although I'm sure there will be lots to see there! I'll be back 4/30 & should have lots of pix.

Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome!
Silvergirl - just finished reading your awesome trip report! Any jewlery store recommendations in town? I LOVE jewelry - much to my husbands dismay lol. Would love to find some nice heavy silver pieces like Tiffany has but without the Tiffany price tag & mass market. Would love to find something unique.
Thanks!

Jewelry, huh? You're speaking to the right girl!! No, kidding. I must tell you that I have bought pieces in Mexico and they're okay, but I've also been disapointed in the quality and the crazy prices. I found a jeweler I really liked in January and was eyeing a piece one day. My favorite guy wasn't in (he only worked at night) so I asked the price from this guy. I went back that night to the guy I had liked and thought I had befriended and he gave me a price of $100 more. I was so upset.......not so much about the price but because of the fact that I realized he was trying to screw me over and I had thought he was a decent guy. I left pretty angry and never went back. I'm sorry now that I didn't let him know how I felt, but what good would it have done? This has left me very leary of shopping for jewelry in Mexico. I find I do just as good if not better at TJ Maxx or Marshalls!

Ouch! I would have been upset too - that's the worst. Finding out someone really is trying to rip you off..... it's one thing to suspect it - it's another thing to find out for sure & worse when it's a person you actually liked. What a bummer

Really??!! I'm in South Weymouth, right around the corner from Columbian Square. Graduated '76 from Weymouth South. Would be funny if we found out we were in grammar school or junior high together! Where on the Cape are your folks? Just heard today that a body washed up on Scusset Beach (Bourne). Turned out to be an MIT student missing since April 8th.

Hi!I lived in South Weymouth on Pleasant St.Spent many afternoons/weekends in Columbian square.Used to go to the youth group at the church across from the movie theater.I graduated in '91,but it would've been funny if we had been the same age and new each other. My parents live in Dennisport. That's sad about the MIT student though.Did the body travel from Boston Harbor?Eww imagine finding that on the beach while looking for shells.

Small world, Cara!! I grew up on Alroy Road (across Route 18 from Fogg Road), was a member and was married at Old South Union Congregational Church (was Terry still the pastor when you were there?), still go to the Cameo to see movies (yes, it's STILL open!). I now live on 18 about a block down from South Shore Hospital.

'91 grad, eh? So that means you were leaving to walk about the same time as I started my first job at the Dunkin' Donuts at the intersection of Main Street/Park Ave.! Gawwd, I feel OLD now!

Dennisport is beautiful!
