Worse than a broken thumb, it's a ripped ligament - the one that holds the thumb on - she's having surgery on Monday. She'll be immobilized at least 10 days...

which means we can tawk allllll sorts of crap about her and she won't be able to type

Ha, VERY funny!

Surgery is TOMORROW (Friday - for those like myself who don't always know what day it is) I'll have a cast for 10 days where typing/writing/mouse usage will be quite non existant and a brace/splint for 5 additional weeks while I do physical therapy!

Who woulda thunk having a few ( ) shots of Don Julio would cause such a huge problem - certainly not me! I sure wish I could recall it all too. However, this IS the second time I have come back from Playa with an injury that has required immediate surgery. But if you look at the odds of how many times I go to Playa vs. how many times I've needed medical treatment - guess I'm not a complete idiot...mostly!

I can still type a bit now as long as I take the brace off, I've figured out how to navigate without a thumb - sorta. By the end of the day, that makes me a bit crankyyyyyyyy though. But the cast tomorrow I won't be able to take off so..........
