Cheapest way to get from the Cancun airport to Royal Hideaway

We're going back to RH in August and we need to be a little more economical this time since we're spending $400 for our dog walker to baby sit our lab while we're away

Is there an economical way to get from the airport to RH ? In the past we have taken a private shuttle and I think it was around 100 or so. It was probably more, but I can't remember and I deleted all the emails from last September.

ADO bus is about $8/person... then a taxi from the bus station is probably around $4 to Playacar. $20 is a lot less than $100.

axh: Sounds like Susie has a good plan for you! When I come down in August, I'll be doing the ADO bus for the first time.

What are your dates in August?? I'll be in town 8/12-8/20.

Doesn't your package include the transfers? Check into it.

We stayed at RH last July and the transfer was included with our price. We booked directly through the resort so that might have made a difference....

The cheapest way would be to walk it. Hey, you can walk anywhere, as long as you have the time!

Jokes aside, the bus is your best bet (others have provided details before me). But do check to see that your vacation package doesn't include one. Every time we have booked AI it was included as a default (you coudl remove it if you wanted to though).
