Europe out this year?
I thought it was expensive last year, but looks like we need to find an alternative country/area

Although, I must admit, I am not looking forward to the expense when I visit next month after leaving the U.K. almost 1 year ago. Paul |

Paul, I totally agree with you on the "best" part because we were discussing another vacation plan and couldn't come up with anything to beat last year's month long stay in London, Paris, Calella and Brussels . How do you beat that on this side of the world, huh?Still, there are four of us and staying a month would be a killer....unless we stay with you

The pound is even harder than the Euro. We had plan a week in England, but not a 2 to 1! |

I could however sell you a Vacation Ownership package and get you 1 month in Europe fo around $2300 (1 bedroom suite that sleeps 4-6). Sorry guys, couldn't resist it. Paul |

You can do most of Europe inexpensively if you know how. The only hard part for me is the airfare.
Now I don't have to stay at 1st class hotels, I'm there to see the country. Getting around is easy, EasyJet or Ryan....way cheaper than a train with forethought. |

the cheapest flights from Milano-Cancun direct ( and flight inside Europe are really cheap now...I flew to Paris from Milano with 80 Euros), are Volare, Lauda, Blu Panorama ( charter flights). You can find a return, in low season, for $ 800 usd.
I'm going to PERU ( YEAHHHHH |

You can get a return ticket to London or Manchester right now from Calgary Alberta for $249 plus taxes....awesome deal!
And I saw a package (air plus 3*** President Hotel, in Bloomsbury, includes breakfast) for about $1200 per person for a week! Plus I think Toronto to London and other European cities were as low as $99 plus taxes, return. But yeah, once you are there, it is quite costly. |

We leave for the Czech Republic on May 1st and will not return until June 14th. The Czech Republic is not yet a part of the European Union, therefore it still utilizes it's own currency. The Koruny or "crown" is at about 21.00 to 1 against the US dollar. Our goal is to also spend some time in Budapest and perhaps a return trip through Austria.
