Doggy Help

Hi All
I know there is a thread running in General about our proposed Animal Shelter,(and i hope im not annoying anyone by posting another thread here) but just in case no-one has seen it, Jen and i are currently looking after 4 stray pups that we bottle fed from 3 weeks old(was 5 but one now has a new home) plus a young starving female we picked up last night.We have also been asked to collect a 3 month old labrador type dog and there are a lot of other strays that will soon be arriving at our front door.

We were not quite prepared for the arrival of our doggy guests so im sorry to say we are asking for a little help

We are not asking for cash donations (although these are always welcome) but we do need some (old?) doggy stuff, bowls-toys-collars/leads in fact anything dog related even old travel crates/cages that are not being used.
Again we are sorry to ask but trying to help these poor dogs is what we have chosen to do with the Playa Peeps assistance we can do so much more.

Also for anyone who does not know , we are looking for peeps to send us pics of thier favorite pet (cat/dog/bird in fact anything) for a small project we want to try and do.

I just posted in the other thread but wanted to let the Madiosn peep fest goers know that I have stuff that needs to be muled to Playa.

So far with the help of our fellow Playapeeps we have managed to re-home 3 puppies and found a foster home for thier mom..

that is great news. I probably will not be back in Playa until Sept. But when I do come I will definately bring a suitcase full of needed items.

Make that 4 puppies and thier mom,plus we are now caring for a new girl Ellie who we found starving at the Coca-Cola plant on the highway all with your help

Hi all, some of you have met Jen and i and many of you are already aware of what we are trying to do down here for the stray animals, with your help we have already rescued,re-homed and fostered fourteen puppies and three mom dogs, and we have already began the job of building a shelter.
Some of my fellow peeps have already given so generously with donations and gifts of toys, bowls etc and for this we really thank you, we have a project in hand to raise a few more dollars and soon hope to have a website/forum in operation, the problem we face is that there is so much more we could do for these animals, (only yesterday i saw a small litter that we would like to help) and we are restricted only by our lack of finances, this is hard for me to do (anyone who knows me could testify to that) but for the sake of these poor dogs and cats i would like to ask you guys to help with a little donation, the cost of a beer a pack of smokes or even just a dollar would go a long way down here.
I hope i dont offend anyone by asking as i know so many of you have already given so much for others on this forum..
