I just have to tell you how excited I am to finally be writing to you all. I have been reading this forum for months during my (most would say anal) search of Playa. I have read every single forum and every single thread. I know - Get A Life!!!! Right?
I have come to look forward to some of the peeps responses to questions - you guys are funny

. I have also noticed a community of thoughtfulness and consideration. Everything from best places to eat, to advise on a cheating boyfriend. Compelling stuff! I have laughed out loud especially at some of the posts on the web cam shots.
But I swear - I'm addicted. I should get fired for the amount of time I have spent reading this forum. And really if you think about it - my boss should be thrilled to have such a thorough, dedicated, unrelenting researcher for an employee.

Anyway - my 15 year old daughter and I are going to Playa in July! We are both going to be celebrating BIG birthdays! We are soo excited!
I truly hope that between now and then I can become a peep to meet.

I took my son with me to Cozumel, Playa, and Tulum for his 13th b-day. He loved it. What a great birthday present for both of you.

Hi there and welcome. I offered to take my 16 yr old son to playa next Jan for his 17th birthday but his response was,,," I have no desire to go to Mexico unless I can get a tatoo there" Geez lol I will just go celebrate without him.

Thanks for the warm welcomes!
I booked us at the Sandos Playacar based solely on the reviews of the beach. That was my #1 criteria since we will be spending most of our time there.
I hope we are happy with the rest of the resort - there are so many mixed reviews. Heck as long as there are no bugs in bed with me - I'm GOOD!

Is anyone else going to be there July 12- 19th?
