Single Digits..Woo hooo!

Well, we are almost there! 9 days and counting down. Seems like just a couple of days ago we had over 100. Now we're in single digits. Ready to rock and roll and having a pre-playa warm up party on Friday night to go over everthing. Just found out one of our "guys" got injured on the job yesterday, and though he says he going, he's got a long week ahead of him. Anyone know how long it takes to surgically implant teeth???

I know!!! Apparently they've stitched him up as good as possible, but the oral surgeon doesn't think he can even look at him until next week when all the swelling goes down!!! Poor Guy!

Hope he heals quickly. As of right now, he's still planning on going.

My son had a bicycle accident and knocked out one of his front teeth, root and all. It took months before he was healed well enough to even start the implant process.
He did have a fake tooth on like a little retainer thing to fit in the empty spot. That took about a week to get after his mouth healed well enough to even take a mold of it. The healing process was about two weeks before they would even touch his mouth but he was a real mess. He had 4 other front teeth that were loose &/or chipped.

WOW, that sounds awful. I hope all goes well. Maybe he will just have to be toothless for the trip! I haven't seen him yet so I don't know the extent of his injuries, but my husband is going over there right now. To top it off, his wife is out of town for the week and he's home alone with his 12 yr old daughter.

Well, sunnier days ahead......only 9 days ahead!!!

I'm down to panic mode now. I just paid all my bills. I now officially have no money to go on vacation

I still haven't pulled out the suitcases, but I will do that tonight. Waxing, manicure and pedicure tomorrow. My cell phone broke. So, I went and got a new one. Don't like it, so I'm taking it back. I need a drink.

Not gonna happen chica! You're goin' to paradise and I'm stuck driving my kids to their baseball games. Gee..which would I rather be doing? Stressing about packing or headin out to another game in the cold. Love ya and yes I'm very jealous. Have a great time and have a few margs for me....k??

TWO DAYS! I'll be panicking then too - but in an excited, can't-wait-to-get-there sort of way.

Oh yeah!

In the teens ourselves now "15" till the "Cat" in PA and that doesn't stand for Pennsylvania either.

In my mind I'm already there.
