New to Playa
Hi Everyone,
I've never been to Playa, but will be there this July for a wedding. I could use some advice! Glad to find you all. Katherine from NY

How do I find out?
What a great find this forum is! How do I find out how to get a phone number of a restaurant (I think I know which one), and then..do I need to speak Spanish? We're coming in July. And thanks so much for the heart welcome! I love you already!

Try googling it, some restuarants have websites!

Welcome to the forum. Most of the locals speak pretty good English but it wouldn't hurt to learn a little Spanish.

Restaurant web sites
Hello Everyone.
And a special hello to another Katherine! We're going in mid July for a wedding. I'm looking for a restaurant that will accommodate about 60 people for a dinner the night before. Some do have web sites, but the phone number is short- only 6 numbers. Don't know what to do with that. Thanks anyone who can help. Katherine

If you're calling from the U.S., you have to dial international access code: 011
then the country code: 52 for Mexico
then the city code: 984 for Playa Del Carmen
Then the phone number.
