Golf near Iberostar Paraiso
Hi, folks! We're new here, and this board helped a lot with our vacation planning! 8) We just booked a week at the Iberostar Paraiso in August. Hubby is a golf addict, and would like to golf at least once during our stay.
What courses would you recommend? The Moon Palace ($$$ ouch! is it worth it?)-- the Playacar GC-- any others? What's the best way to arrange transportation? Can you purchase golf packages at the Paraiso? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks

Golf
The best way to golf while at the Iberostar Paraiso is to take a cab to Playa Del Cramen, about 15 minutes to town 20.00. The only golf club in PDC.
If i remember right it was 120.00 american for all the golf you want all day long. It includes lunch and drinks. Hire a caddie for the 20.00 american (Tip well they make 3.00 american a day) and have a good round. The track is very tough. Jungle with caverns and a lot of out of bounds with water in play a lot, very narrow greens. If I can help with anything else just let me know. D PS you will love the Iberostar Parasio. A great resort.

Golf at Playacar
Hey Coral Reef, the cart is included in the fee which is now $130, $80 for twilight after 2PM. Taylor Made rentals cost $40 or $30 for Callaway. Dress code is strictly enforced, no denim shorts for men or women, collared shirts for men and appropriate length shorts for women. The course is in excellent shape, the greens are challenging and the sand is everywhere, only 2 water holes. Take lots of balls. All food and drink on the snack carts and at the club house is included in your green fee.
