Weather
I just felt like posting this as news, as it is perhaps the nicest weather right now that can ever be experienced.
Flat, clear seas. Blue skies. Nice temps. Cools off at night a bit. Marvelous! How is it where you are?

Boise, Idaho weather report:
It's around 56 degrees and it is pouring rain. I can put up with it since I'll be spending some time in PDC and Puerto Morelos at the end of May. Saludos, Alicia2 PS Great forum!!!! James thanks for the info on the Shangri-La Caribe that you e-mailed me a few weeks ago. |

I know everyone is waiting with baited breath to hear the weather report from Bell Buckle, TN, so here goes:
70 and sunny. The daffodils are in full effect. Lovely. Would I rather be in PDC? You bet. |

Yeah, Alma; but up there in Weber County; you don't get the pretty sunsets when the sun sinks behind the nerve gas storage facilities like we do in Tooele County.
I was at Snowbird last weekend, and most of their lifts were still open and there may be more snow this weekend. Utah: But it's a dry cold. PdC is going to be great! I can wear shorts and sandals and the government won't treat me like a criminal if I want a beer. What's this "humidity" thing I keep reading about? Where Alma & I live (and to a lesser extent, Alicia), it's usually dry enough to weld your contact lenses to your eyeballs. |

Spring is awakening. The lawns are more green than brown--that liquid green that you see only in spring. Maple buds have popped open and the red blossom clusters swell. I had a wild turkey in my garden, many bunny rabbits out looking for other bunny rabbits  , and best of all--the spring peepers (frogs) sing at night. Early crocuses and daffodils blooming, and even the dandelions look good.
Mexico is wonderful, but the gentle approach of spring in a temperate climate is amazing. |

Spring
Finally...blue skies, upper sixties. Pool is up and running. I took a long walk in our woods with my dog to dig ramps (wild leeks),a true harbinger of spring. He had the best time - in and out of the creek, running up to smile and shower me with a shake. I kept thinking "this is a such great day to be a dog!" I love all the little wildflowers emerging - trout lilys, jack in-the-pulpit, may apples. I still keep searching for antlers. We are over-run with deer and I figure I'll stumble upon some one of these days.
