I was reALly wrong! A confession…

Occasionally here on the board there are misconceptions drawn – both pro and con – about individualswe have not met or spent any real time with. Sadly, I believe that there are some who will avoid meeting for this reason. I almost allowed a personal preconception cloud my judgment and my beliefs about absolutAl could not have been more totally off base!

I’ve already confessed this to him, I guess that I’m just hoping that perhaps others might learn from my (near) mistake.

Besides, how can you not love this face!?!?!

I think there are many people on this forum (myself included) who at least from time to time like to 'explore' a part of their personality that they may not let out too often..sometimes inadvertantly causing others to have the wrong impression of who they really are. I mean...we all have many facets to our personalities and lives and very little of that actually comes through the computer or even with casual meetings. I've had perceptions of peeps that turned out to be just the opposite (in good ways...mostly

) and am happy to have met them all!! Now whether or not I remember everyones names or meeting them at all...that's another story

Anyway....glad you made a new friend!

That's part of what this is all about .....isn't it?

. I sure hope that you and Roy and Deb and Duck and I can do our own "mini peep fest' in the near future. Maybe take a drive south of Tulum and really see more of the Riviera Maya. Just had my dinner - sub sandwich from Wal-Mart

. Not quite like the food a Super Carnes. Since I have been back in Deadwood, its has been rainy, windy, and cool -temps in the 40s and 50s. How depressing. Friends told that the whole time that I was away, temps here were in the 70s and 80s. Why did I come back
