If was able to go I would vote for La Ranita for all the same reasons Tappy said

Ditto on La Ranita. The Tequila Barrel has grown in size and now includes a back area that is pretty dark making it more difficult to find people. La Rana is small and compact, pretty much can't lose anyone there.

Not sure where the rest of you June peeps are but now is the time to speak up.

Hey Neighbors,
Go over to the Changarros y mas forum and put the word " updated" in the search box. This will bring up some past threads, go to the Updating the PDC Restaurant list and click on the last page. Scroll down to Dpreefer's post and click on the various places to eat doc. This would be easier if I could just put the link here, but I'm way too uneducated for that!
This is a great list and gives the addresses. Just remember that the Avenues run along the sea and the street cross them.

La Ranita is on Calle 10 between 5th ave. (the main drag) and 10th Ave. - closer to 10th. As you turn from 5th Ave onto Calle 10, La Ranita will be a yellow building on your left at the end of the block. If you get to 10th Ave (busy road), it's behind you!

Honestly, can't miss it - look for the frogs!
