taxi.
With luggage it would be a pretty good haul. You could easily do it, but with taxi rates in that zone around 12 pesos...I would think for for about $4 USD you would want to have someone place your luggage in the taxi...drive you up, help unload and you're there... It's what we do when going to the Luna Blue on 26th. Roughly the same distance. |

It would depend on how heavy you pack and if walking is easy for you. La Tortuga is about 6 blocks or so. Nice thing is that you do not have to decide until you arrive at the ADO station in Playa. You can just about look up the street to where la Tortuga is. Can't say how far it is to the Royal PDC, sorry. (My wife and I walked to the ADO from Playa Maya, no problem and we packed heavy.)

Take a ride with a triciclio! The 3-wheeled bikes line up right outside the bus station and you can start your vacation with an authentic Mexican ride. You will get a personalized tour right down 5th Avenue with advice on shops and restaurants. Be sure to agree on a price before loading up, remembering that a taxi would cost 12 pesos with no tip needed unless the driver handles a lot of luggage for you. 15-20 pesos about right.
