Who is in Playa in October// November?

Okay folks- yesterday was my b-day and while me and the girls got a few bottles of wine moved from present to past tense one of my friends brought up the idea of going to Playa with me once again.........
I have been making plans to go back for a long time now- and in fact I had another plan in the making, which is still up in the air concerning when to go and where to stay.
So right now I am in the air between slowly pushing plan a) going in October or November with my friend or plan b) going alone at a later point in time.

Which made me wonder who will be down in October// November- as if I find out that tons of peeps are down at one point or another it may be a good reason to decide for plan a or b.

So who's down in October// November?

I have a proposal into my boss about taking a 6 week leave starting mid-October through November 25th. I'm still waiting for him to make a decision, but I'm feeling pretty confident. I feel the need to step out of my life for a bit.

I've finally convinced my sister to come and find out what Playa is all about and hopefully she falls in love with it as much as I have. We'll be there from Oct. 26th to Nov. 6th and I've just booked a kitchentte at Luna Blue. I haven't stayed there before and after reading all the positive reviews, I'm anxious to experience it myself.

So we'll be looking for some peeps to hook up with during that time. Hubby isn't coming this time and now I think he's regretting that decision - oh well, ya snooze, ya loose

So us two cougars will be roaming Playa celebrating my sister's 50th birthday.

Thanks for the b-day wishes!

Scott- September will be a no-go due to the vacation time of my friend......but man, I wish that scenario of having one or two or tons of tequila with you would have been possible.

Sunny and Lollabella and a1- great that you'll be down there then.....sounds good!

And Heather- cripes, I totally forgot about that little party of Halloween!! AND dia de los muertos!!!! Definately a GOOD and valid reason to go then.........

I'll have a talk with Mom (giver of money for poor students like me...) about all that today.

Tehe- in fact my head is spinning with what to do.
Had I gone alone I would have stayed in Puerto A.- but with my friend I hardly know where to start- Puerto or Playa? Beach or party oriented? AI or eat out?? GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

I think I never saw you make that offer on the board before so I feel very honoured!! Esp. seeing that you have work and a family to tend to!!

Okay- it's happening. *hyperventilates for a bit*

Fact is that I will be going to Playa and this time it is DEFINATE.
No more yeah maybe don't know could be........
I am sooooooooo beyond myself with excitement!!!

But well- here come all the probs of arranging things.

No exact dates are set yet- it will be me and a friend from Hamburg plus two from Munich who maybe joining us for a shorter period.
Me and my friend will be down for three weeks, probably heading down mid-October until start of November (17th til 7th or something of the like).

My friend has never been down. Emphasis will be on relax, second emphasis on sightseeing for my friend (I'm sure we'll be doing Playainfo tours....). Third emphasis party.

So now I already have my head spinning as I actually wanted to stay in Puerto Aventuras, but when I checked the appartment rates my jaw dropped for a bit and then I checked that idea off my list. 1500 per week USD?? Errrrr, no. Not really. (Eh- in case there is someone out there with a condo in Puerto he would like to rent out to two lovely German girls for three weeks for a "local" price let me know!!).

Will be sitting down with my friends at the end of next week to make things more definate. Will let you know how things roll.

Am already taking suggestions for a halloween costume!!!

Oh- I know the time until then will just fly by with uni and all.......so I'm not too worried about that. If I just had the planning in dry towels.....
