Hail No!

We just had a wicked thunderstorm roll through town. The first time in my 8 years in Mexico where it actually hailed. About half inch pellets. I tried to take a photo, but it melted as soon as it hit the ground.

Lots of sirens around. Hope all are well.

Just had a bunch of that stuff roll through Houston the other day. Pretty scary stuff... Was any of your stuff damaged?

these palapas make a lot of noise in the wind
and the inside of mine is full of debris
i'm going to have to get my leaf blower out and clean my house
...but it's the first significant rain here in a long time so i ain't complaining - much.

sorry tourists....we need this every now and then

Wow hail in Playa, I would have never thunk it. The weather has been quite odd for us here in Texas. Lots and lots and lots of rain and some hail.

I suspect she lured you down there just so she would have her own little "houseboy" to take care of things while she travels the world!!!

Squeegee away houseboy! Then bring me a drink w/ an umbrella in it, will 'ya?

Me neither! Kind of fantastical. Rick, I'd rather squeegee water and sweep debris than shovel snow any day. Glad to hear there wasn't any structural damage.

Having a good first spring rain here, but no wind. The windows are open and I have to pee about every 10 minutes. There's no way I'm putting a water feature in my yard - I'd have to put in a porta potty too.
